MUSIC MINISTRY

Christianity is a singing faith. We sing with joy, thanksgiving, and reverence to our God who deserves worship. Singing is an essential aspect of our worship each Sunday morning, and we believe that the most important sound in worship is the congregation's voices lifted in praise! We sing a combination of old and new hymns, accompanied in a simple manner to encourage the congregation's singing.

There are opportunities to serve God and our congregation in music by playing music in our 10:45am worship service. If you are interested in doing so, please contact Jonathan Smith (jonathan.columbiabible@gmail.com).

O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods… Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Ps. 95:1-3, 6)

Sing to the LORD a new song; Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. (Ps. 96:1-4)

Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. (Col. 3:16)
