What to Expect on a Sunday Morning
We gather for worship on Sundays from 10:30 to 11:45 AM, and we'd love to have you join us. We strive to create an environment that is both reverent and welcoming from the moment you step through our doors.
A few things first-time guests often wonder about:
Come as you are. You'll see everything from jeans to jackets on a Sunday morning.
Parking is free and easy — our lot is right at the building.
You won't be singled out. We're glad you're here, and our greeters will welcome you at the door — but we'll never ask visitors to stand up or introduce themselves publicly.
The service runs about 75 minutes.
Children and Families
We love children, and you are more than welcome to keep your kids with you during the service — we believe the sound of children in the sanctuary is a blessing. For families who prefer it, we offer caring environments for our younger generation:
Nursery (Ages 0–3): A safe, clean, and caring environment for your little ones.
Sunday School (Ages 3yrs–6th Grade): Our dedicated team of teachers teaches children the Bible in an age-appropriate way.
All of our children's ministry volunteers undergo background checks to ensure a safe and secure environment for every family. When you arrive, any greeter can walk you to the nursery or Sunday School rooms and help you get your kids settled.
Our Worship and Preaching
Our services focus on the glory of God, the teaching of God's Word, and encouraging one another. We are committed to the faithful, verse-by-verse expository teaching of Scripture; each Sunday we dive deep into a specific passage to understand its original context and how it applies to our lives today.
You'll also experience corporate prayer, public Scripture reading, and congregational singing — a combination of old and new hymns, accompanied simply, because we believe the most important sound in worship is the congregation's voices lifted in praise.
After the Service
Life at Columbia Bible Church extends beyond Sunday morning. Immediately following worship, stick around for refreshments and conversation in our fellowship area — it's the easiest way to meet people, and we'd genuinely love to meet you.
When you're ready to go deeper, there's more: Equip Classes (Sundays, 9:30–10:15 AM) offer biblical and theological training for all ages, Small Groups meet in homes across the Tri-Cities during the week for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship, and our men's and women's ministries gather regularly throughout the month.
